Hi Maggie

The book is called “Feminist Theory: From Margin to Center” and it’s written by bell hooks (letters are not capitalized).
It’s an awesome book, and I have been reading it again for the second time and it’s just so relevant and written in a way that is intelligent, poignant, and in a way anyone can understand.

Hey, thanks folks. In the background are my overstuffed book cases and, above that, one of my grandpa’s paintings. He was an abstract painter and teacher, and we have tons of his work all over our walls :)
Now my office is a maze of book piles on the floors, bookshelves, and desk, haha. :P

Thank you for mentioning your passing as white. Because you certainly do. And if you would’ve continued on with your Egyptian decent spiel I might’ve not been able to come back to your blog. Maybe you can also distinguish differences in white supremacy of African Americans and Arab Americans.
